Nightfall
$1000
36x24 inch acrylic on gallery deep canvas.
As evening slowly progresses into night, the forest gradually settles into a peaceful and quiet hush. Perhaps there is a gentle, soft breeze accompanied by the faint rustling of a few tiny paws just before the darkness fully takes over. I truly enjoyed imagining the gentle awakening of fairies, fireflies, and other magical little happenings I brought to life within this painting.
Trees Matter
$500
12x12 inch acrylic on canvas.
Rugged, wind-sculpted evergreens are a common sight as you drive along the Trans Canada Highway through the Canadian Shield. I created this piece from the numerous photographs I have taken during my many visits to this stunning and incredible region.
Autumn Settles In
$1000
48x36 inch acrylic on canvas.
Autumn brings cooling temperatures and leaves changing from green to red, orange, and yellow. Bold brush strokes and vibrant colors depict a dynamic Manitoba forest, transitioning from cool tones below to rich autumn hues above. Inspired by serene seasonal beauty, this acrylic painting evokes reflection and appreciation.
Glow
$1000
24x24 inch acrylic with mixed media and gold texture on cradled wood.
Bold brush strokes and vibrant colors create a dynamic forest scene dominated by trees and underbrush. The colors transition from warm tones at the bottom to cooler hues toward the top, suggesting a change in atmosphere or lighting.
Taken from my imagination and working with texture and paint, the artist captures a scene found in the Canadian Shield.

A plein aire day with friends an get tricky when the weather does not agree with the outdoor experience. it all started off sunny but then the wind picked up and our art supplies and easels blew away. I love the painting though. This scene was Swistun Family Heritage Park in Birds Hill.
Dynamism

Wanted to capture the feeling of dancing in the forest. The positive healing energy the forest gives off makes me want to dance. May you enjoy that feeling too.
The Colour Lavender

I painted this little gem in the spring and really over exaggerated to lavender you see in the Whiteshell, but I love the results.
Strong and Free
$1000
Acrylic painting on cradles wood canvas. 24x24 inch.
The Canada I have grown up in is strong and free and sometimes wild. Kayaking in the Whiteshell or the rugged Canadian Shield will attest to that. Winds blow across Lake Superior or Lake Winnipeg and carve the landscape over the centuries reminding you that you better be prepared for a storm at anytime.
